With time, the soil settles and weed roots hold it together, if it starts to get too short/small, dump more on it. ![]() The backstop is a box made from pressure-treated wood. The lumber is mostly just to hold your targets. In practice, when shooting a rifle, this means the target image may be sharp but the sights are blurry, or vice-versa.
